Eat Around the World with Sutton Hoo Chicken
With many travel plans on hold, and some of our favourite restaurants and takeaways still closed, we wanted to share our favourite recipes from around the world.
Chicken is so versatile and is a staple in many different cuisines. We believe that our slower grown, naturally maturing chicken develops a fuller and more succulent flavour which adds an extra element to every dish you create.
Allow our delicious recipes to take you on a journey that you might not otherwise be able to go on and enjoy trying something new from the comfort of your home.
Spain
Starting with one of our most popular holiday destinations, this One Pot Spanish Chicken is always a winner. The delicious Mediterranean flavours absorb into the rice, but are delicate enough to allow the amazing taste of our chicken to still come through.
Italy
Home of the slow food movement and a country whose cuisine is centered around using what you have, we adore the Italian approach to using everything on a bird.
Try our Easy Chicken & Pesto Pasta for a quick lunch or a primi piatti. Our new guest recipe of Sutton Hoo Chicken Milanese makes the perfect secondi, or main dish. It is traditionally served with spaghetti and red sauce, but you might prefer to use stock from your chicken to make a risotto to accompany it.
Greece
Perfect to wow your guests if you are planning a garden party, try our collection of mezze recipes with a spatchcock Sutton Hoo Chicken as the centrepiece. Spatchcock Sutton Hoo Chicken with thyme, sumac and mezze dishes.
Morocco
Transport yourself to the hustle and bustle of Morocco with our fragrant Chicken Tagine. It is also another great way of using Sutton Hoo Chicken stock – the recipe for which can be found here.
India
Our favourite Indian chicken curry recipe is this Quick and Easy Chicken Curry from Caroline Winstanley which has ground almonds as its secret ingredient. Don’t forget the poppadums or naan bread and enjoy.
MYANMAR
Try our simple curry from the northern state of Kachin in Myanmar. Our take on the Kachin Chicken Curry is a recipe of fresh Sutton Hoo Chicken thighs, ginger, chilli’s, limes and mixed spices.
Vietnam
Another new guest recipe, Pho is a Vietnamese broth which is really good for you and the best ones have a slowly simmered bone broth as their base. Use up whatever seasonal vegetables you have and try Tony’s Sutton Hoo Chicken Pho here.

Coming around from Asia to the US, and you might like to try this Slow Cooker Carolina BBQ Chicken, perfect for serving with a fresh home-made ‘slaw.
